The Role of Resource Specialists
Much of infoMONTGOMERY's success rests on the participation of a team of resource specialists. Resource Specialists are key contributors because of their unique knowledge about the programs and services available to Montgomery County residents in their particular area of expertise.
As staff at a human service agency or organization in Montgomery County, the resource specialist's time is generously given because of their commitment to collaboratively building and sustaining a web-based planning and information-and-referral tool to be shared across organizations and with the general public.
The resource specialists refer organizations to become members of infoMONTGOMERY and review the information entered into the database for the purposes of consistency across like services. All programs are given final approval by the system administrator.
