Become a Member
"Become part of this collaborative effort—the ultimate benefit being improved child and family well-being—connections are made to needed resources and gaps in services are appropriately identified."
Each organization included in the resource database is a member of infoMONTGOMERY. As a member, each organization enters and updates into a web-based data entry system, service information about the programs they provide. Organizations receive automatic e-mail reminders to ensure that information is kept up-to-date.
Most organizations are invited to participate through the efforts of a team of Resource Specialists. With their unique knowledge of the programs and services available to Montgomery County residents in their area of expertise, they help identify potential candidates for inclusion according to the established inclusion guidelines.
Organizations that wish to become a member should contact the Resource Database Coordinator: Susan Guevara Augusty, admin@infomontgomery.org.
How the Process Works
Each organization with a completed participation form that fits the database inclusion guidelines will receive an account to the web-based data entry system, a password, instructions to begin entering information into the database, and an invitation to training sessions.
Participation acknowledges the following:
- Understand that participation is voluntary and is not tied to any funding.
- Agreement not to share user login ID and password with anyone outside of the organization.
- Information in the database is available on a publicly accessible website.
- Service details are not made public until information is complete and approved by the Systems Administrator with guidance form the team of Resource Specialists.
- Information not periodically kept up-to-date will be taken offline until information is confirmed by the organization.
- Database guidelines for data entry must be followed and information may be edited to conform to database consistency standards.
- An organization can choose to be removed from the database at anytime by sending a written request to the Systems Administrator.
Updating Information
Automatic reminders are sent to the organization's assigned account at selected intervals appropriate for each program. Annual review is made by the Resource Database Coordinator in accordance with the database guidelines and standards.
