How Keyword Searches Work
The keyword search will draw from words or terms included in the following database fields:
- organization name
- organization AKA
- organization description
- program name
- program description
- service term and synonyms
- service term definition
- program partners
The number of words is limited to ten. Words like "THE", "OR" and "AND" are ignored.
How Advanced Search Works
The advanced search includes the same criteria as the keyword search as well as more selective criteria on service area and languages offered.
Service area refers to: The geographic area the program serves. Service area is not the same as delivery location. Service area designates where a participant must reside or which school they must attend in order to qualify for the program. If it serves residents in all of Montgomery County, All of Montgomery County will be displayed.
Results returned are inclusive of any service selected and programs that serve all of Montgomery County will be included. For example, a search selection of Gaithersburg will return programs exclusively serving Gaithersburg residents as well as programs serving all of Montgomery County.
Languages offer refers to: The set of languages for which the program has the capacity to meet directly.

No Results Found
If your search yields "no results found", try limiting the words in your search criteria. A search may not yield results if it is too narrow. Other reasons why you may not find the service you are looking for could be that these programs are not part of infoMONTGOMERY. It may also signify a gap in services.
