Fostering Cooperation in Children with Special Needs

For parents of children ages 3-13 with AD(H)D, ASD, LDs, sensory processing challenges and other neurodevelopmental issues. Children with special needs tend to display their feelings with extreme intensity, to behave in particular irksome ways and to keep their parents on an emotional rollercoaster that makes it difficult to maintain calm, consistent discipline. In this seminar, participants learn how to boost children's confidence, increase their sense of positive power and contribution, and promote greater harmony in your family. Each week includes two hours of lecture and role plays, plus 1/2 hour of problem solving on specific issues.
