ElderSAFE

The first program of its kind in the Washington metropolitan area, the ElderSAFE Center was launched in 2014 to provide safe, temporary shelter, to coordinate and provide community referrals, and to increase public awareness and education about elder abuse. ElderSAFE accepts referrals from community agencies at 301.816.5099, Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The ElderSAFE Center provides the following services: safe, temporary shelter, confidential counseling, medical services, physical therapy services, case management, community referrals and coordination, legal referrals, spiritual support, safe discharge.
